Hi, I’m Hannah! Your southeast michigan and nashville, tennessee family Photographer.

lu’s lens photography is almost 10 years old this june 2025! Lu is a shortened version of my middle name, Lucretia.

I specialize in capturing the beautiful, chaotic, and real moments of family life. My approach blends both directed and documentary styles, allowing me to guide you through moments of connection while also letting the magic unfold naturally.

When we work together, I like to think of it as a 2-hour playdate with your family. Phones are down, and it’s all about having fun, being present, and embracing the playful energy that comes with parenthood. that might mean some belly laughs, tickle fights, and, yes, maybe even a few tears — because that’s real life. It’s all part of the journey, and I’m here to document it in the most authentic way.

i have photographed everything from weddings (76 of ‘em!), families, pets, proposals… you name it. but now that I have a family of my own, i’ve leaned entirely into family photography. it brings me so much joy to snap the meaningful moments that are so fleeting in parenthood.
