Hi, I’m Hannah! Lu is a shortened version of my middle name, Lucretia. this is where my business name Lu's Lens Photography comes from.

I’m going into my 10th year of photography and have photographed everything people have trusted me to capture: weddings (76 of ‘em!), families, pets, boudior, events, proposals… you name it. but now that I have a family of my own, i’ve leaned entirely into family photography. it brings me so much joy to snap the meaningful moments that are so fleeting in parenthood.

I graduated from Northwood University where my degree taught me how to run a successful business. But how do you successfully capture a beautiful photo? Well, I tell stories. I want to hang out with you. be a fly on the wall while directing, playing games, and Becoming BFF's with your 3 year old. I connect, I photograph, and make memories. There's no teaching that. I'm a natural light photographer who will drag you out of bed at 6am for a beautiful sunrise session, or walk around your home and lead you into the beaming sunset rays.
